Description
The Hybrid Ice Spikes are an adjustable ice traction system for VBX Bunny Boots, compatible with the VBX MAX, VBX LITE and composite boots. With one hand, you can push the six ice studs down for grip on ice or pull them up to walk normally on indoor floors.
Most traction add-ons make you choose between grip and convenience. Strap-on cleats have to come off at every doorway, and fixed studs slip on tile and concrete. The Hybrid Ice Spikes stay on the boot and switch between two modes:
- Deployed: Six molded-in ice studs press into ice, packed snow and frozen ground for added traction.
- Retracted: The studs pull up, so you can walk on hardwood, tile, vehicle floors and shop concrete without metal touching the surface.
Built for real Alaska transitions
In winter you’re often moving between conditions all day: an icy parking lot, then a warehouse floor, then a frozen boat ramp, then a truck cab. The one-handed switch lets you change modes without sitting down, taking anything off or keeping a spare set of cleats in the truck.
A secure fit with no boot modification
The Hybrid Ice Spikes attach with a lace-hook retention system and an adjustable fit that holds them in place on the boot. You don’t need to drill, screw or glue anything, so your VBX boots stay as they came. To take the spikes off, unhook them.
Durable compression-molded rubber
The body is compression-molded rubber, which stays flexible and holds its shape through hard daily use in cold, wet and icy conditions.
