Fantastic foraging bags!

I bought these for my kids for berry picking and they're perfect! The snaps at the top are great for preventing accidental spills. For fragile berries I made a cardboard circle to put in the bottom to keep the berries from getting squished. After berry picking I just compost it and make a new one. The bags are so easy to clean. And they also make great beach combing bags.

Awesome lil bag

This bag is great. I don't like using baskets though they do keep things from getting crushed. This has just enough structure to not smoosh your berries/mushrooms/etc. while also packing down small for storing in your pack. If it was any bigger it’d need more structure to avoid collapsing on your heavier finds and the large was the perfect size for what I need. Dig the snaps!

The best Berry picking basket

If you like to pick berries, this is the basket that you need.
Since I was a child, I have tied a cereal box around my neck an hoped that the cardboard wouldn’t get wet and dump my precious berries in the ground.
The fiddlehead bags offer a better solution. They are strong, even in the rain. You can wear one around your neck, over one shoulder or around your waist, allowing you to pick with both hands.
I have bought bags for myself, my wife, my sister and brother-in-law and five friends who like berries as much as I do.
This is a well-designed accessory.

Great Kid's Bag!

I've now purchased 3 of the smaller version for use as foraging bags. My daughters love them! Very well made and thoughtfully constructed. They can hold a lot, and are also easy to clean at the end of the day (they get hosed off more often than actually washed!). Love how the strap is adjustable so an adult can easily take over carrying the bag when the kids inevitably get tired! Excited to see what else Alaska Gear Lab comes out with!

High quality

These bags seem like they will be great to avoid damaging morel mushrooms. My old cloth bags compressed and when I pick a bunch the mushrooms start to smoosh each other. This is a good balance between still being a comfortable bag (but not a bucket) with a little more rigidity than cloth. I’m excited to use it this spring.
