Heavy Duty PSTOL Flap Return Spring

These Heavy Duty Flap Return Springs are specifically designed to address flap drooping issues caused by the increased weight of PSTOL flaps. Since PSTOL flaps are constructed entirely of metal, they weigh more than the original Piper flaps, placing greater load on the return springs.
With stock flap springs, this added weight can cause the flaps to sag slightly while on the ground. Though this corrects itself in flight, it results in a visually uneven appearance on the ground and can cause the flaps to clank against the stops while taxiing. Our heavy-duty springs provide the additional tension needed to keep the PSTOL flaps fully retracted and firmly seated against the stops at all times.
