Limited Warranty Policy

At Alaska Gear Company, we stand behind the quality of our products. Most products are warranted to the original purchaser for one (1) year from the date of sale against defects in workmanship and materials. Alaskan Bushwheels have a five (5) year pro-rated warranty as listed below.

Products not manufactured by Alaska Gear Company are limited to the warranty provided by the manufacturer.

Refunds, repairs or exchanges for warranty items will be issued at the discretion of Alaska Gear Company and/or the item’s manufacturer. Items that are sent back for repair must be clean and dry.

Follow our normal return process to return items due to a warranty claim. Please click here for information on returns. 

Exceptions: Although our products are made to stand the test of time, all materials and products are subject to wear and tear. Our warranty policy does not cover ordinary wear and tear, in addition to neglect or failure to adequately maintain and store the product, installer error, damage from unapproved cleaning agents or chemicals, burn marks, punctures, cuts, abrasions from outside causes, damages from excessive UV exposure, alteration to the product, repairs or modifications, inadequate or improper fit, accidents, misuse and/or abuse, animals, act of God, fire or other hazard, tampering, improper shipping and handling, or purchases from third parties or unauthorized dealers.

Repairs: If an item can be repaired but is not covered under warranty, we may be able to provide the repair service (depending on the nature of the damage) for a reasonable charge, plus shipping and handling. Items that are sent back for repair must be clean and dry. Dirty items will be declined.

Limitation of Liability: Alaska Gear Company reserves the right to determine whether the terms of this warranty, set forth above, have been properly complied with. Alaska Gear Company will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages related to, or resulting from any damage to, or defect in, said products.

Alaskan Bushwheel Tires

Alaskan Bushwheels come with a five (5) year pro-rated warranty. Warranty claims determined to be the result of manufacturing defects will be replaced based on the purchased date. Warranty replacements are made at 100% of the original purchase in the first year, and pro-rated at 20% per year after the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, not the date of installation on the aircraft. This warranty is non-transferable.
