David Demand Following a recent trip to a wilderness area that had experienced extreme drought conditions, there was a fear of running a tent stove for concerns of the wind creating a wildfire. A second spark arrestor in the top of the pipe was desirable as to mitigate flying sparks. The idea of a rain/snow cap was desirable as well. This product met both desires and is the best I found so far. The only changes I would make is to decrease the arrestor openings and make this from titanium sheeting to reduce weight and mitigate corrosion. The arrestor I received is not as it was pictured. The holes are squares with 1/2” openings and I don’t feel that this will mitigate the sparks adequately. It folds nicely and fits into my existing stove pipe case, so not noticeable to pack in.
