Build Sheet Instructions
Chord Length
The chord length of a wing is the distance between the leading edge and the trailing edge of the wing, measured parallel to the normal airflow over the wing.
- Standard Chord Length - 15"
- Deep Chord Length - 17"
D Measurments
- D1 is the distance between the edge of the flap and the center of Hanger 1.
- D2 is the distance between the center of hanger 1 and the center of hangar 2.
- D3 is the distance between the center of hanger 2 and the center of hangar 3.
- D4 is the distance between the center of hanger 3 and the center of hangar 4.
The Number of Drivers Per Flap
Indicate whether the flap needs a single or a double driver.
Indicate Where the Bellcrank is located
List each Hanger number seperated by a comma to indicate which of the hangers need bellcrank/driver/pushrod.
Hanger 1 is the hanger closest to the fuselage.
Example: ( Hanger 1, Hanger 3 )
Notes
- Right Wing Shown in diagram. Left wing assumed to be mirrored.
- 4-hanger flaps cannot be "split", two 2-hanger flaps must be purchased.
- Experimental flaps purchase includes required mounting hardware.
- We do not recommend flaps longer that 120", contact us to discuss further if you would like to order flaps longer that 120".
- Flaps will be built to these dimension so make sure they are accurate
