I have own a few of these tents camped to colder than -40. I can tell you that it holds up to snow, cold, and rain and heavy wind. Durable and heavy duty.
Only complaint after spending 5k with all the accessory’s they can’t sew on $1 worth of nylon strap to grab the 80lbs bag, seriously! It this tent a pain to move by yourself.
I gave 4 stars due to the lack support and ease of use moving the tents
Of course we all know this tent is made to weather winter in Arendelle against Elsa's frozen powers. However, the fact im writing this review is how comfortable the artic 12 is in Eastern Washington's not so frozen environment. Temp about 55 today falling to 36 at night and I'm a happy as Sven choking down carrots. Not too hot. The cylinder stove combo is the way to go. You can dampen the outfitter down to a mellow burn which is quite comfortable. The versatility of this unit really is mind blowing and it is an easy one man setup. The best thing about using this in warmer conditions is the stove will burn for apprx 10hrs. It's insane. Alaska gear company has killed it with tent material to keep the heat even and comfortable. It's like upgrading from grandpa's briquette BBQ that burnt the chicken on one side but it's still under cooked at the center to the best Traeger money can buy. Understandable why this is one of the best tents on the planet (not exaggerating). To wrap up a margarita fueled review, the tent is worth every penny. Or impulse interest free credit card purchase. Not that i would know.
Whatever you need to do. Just get this tent!
